i wasn't the happiest fan when ice cube left n.w.a but one thing did get better...the skits!!! if you remember after this is album prince paul was doing crazy skits for de la soul and his own compilation album (later giving the credit to dr. dre)...ni**az4life stayed in rotation when i had my disc changer in the regal, now it in rotation on the ipod!!!
sidenote: i just realized like half of n.w.a videos have some type of shot in a jail cell.

wednesday we are teaming up with swank society radio- to bring you "fresh for 88" the solemates anniversary edition.
it's free before 10 and only 5 bucks after, so no complaints. to add the kitchen is open late and drink specials!!!

we are finalizing plans with innertrend and plan b for our friday nite schindig, so stay tuned.

and saturday brings the GRAND FINALE with So CHI, the brooklyn circus and my fashionation!!!

last night scion sponsored another free concert at the metro. this week m.o.p graced chicago with their presence...they had a dope show doing songs like downtown swinga, how about some hardcore, cold as ice, etc. they even did some new material with that rock and roll sound...i was impressed with the music but when they poured everyone in the front row a shot of henny i had to really respect them!!!

so friday marked my last day at phli... my brothers had a going away party for me (while on the clock), complete with their get crunk concoction of remy and rose- oooo weee.

this weekend we welcomed dana and shareeff to the old folks club...they got married! the wedding was held at the sofitel, and definitely a night to remember. a beautiful ceremony and beautiful people, congrats!! i hadn't seen brian in a suit since our wedding- i told him we need to do it again! i just hope my father is ready for that...just kidding. oh yea, how crazy is it that dana caught the bouquet at our wedding?!! good times.
